This is what a child's birthday is like at O'Learys Skien
On arrival, the children are greeted by their own waiter and escorted to a reserved table decorated with balloons. Drink orders and food orders are taken as soon as all children are in place. Drinks and main course are served. When the children have finished eating, the main course is cleared away and the kitchen prepares for dessert. If children's package 2 has been ordered, the children now get two tokens each and get approx. 20 minutes in Gamezone. When the dessert is served, the staff sings the birthday song. After dessert, the children are followed to the bowling alley where they are helped with shoes and to write their names. Then they are at the bowling alley until they are picked up.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can we bring our own cake?
No. When visiting a restaurant, we are responsible for food safety and are not allowed to serve brought food or drink. If you want a cake for your birthday, you can request this by email in advance.
When do they open presents?
Most people take the gifts home with them. There is room to open presents in between food and dessert and upstairs in the bowling alley.
Can we bring our own decorations?
Yes. At least 30 minutes before the birthday party starts, the birthday table is ready. Then there is an opportunity to bring decorations and decorate extra.
One of the children has hyper allergies. What do I do with it?
In cases where one child has a strong food allergy to e.g. nuts and we cannot guarantee that there are no traces of this, we allow the child to bring their own food.
Can the adults join?
Yes. We usually have one table near the children's birthday party for the adults who want to join.
